Learn more about roof systems

Single Ply Systems
TPO, PVC and EPDM are state of the art single ply roofing membranes that are widely used in the roofing industry today. In fact, these systems cover over 60% of the commercial market share. Benefits of single ply roofing such as TPO and EPDM include their lightweight flexibility, easy installation and proven track record. PVC membranes are ideal for withstanding hazards that include chemicals, hurricane-level wind, and fire. The costs associated with single ply roofing depend on the condition of the existing roof, installation choice, climatic conditions, insulation choice, and size of roof.

Metal Roof Systems
As leaders in the commercial roofing industry, we have our own in-house metal shop. This facility allows us to provide building owners and managers with peace of mind by reducing the number of subcontractors used in the job process. Our metal craftsman manufactures gutters/downspouts, edge systems, and coping systems in a wide variety of colors and textures. Metal roofing is beneficial for a multitude of reasons. Benefits of metal include, but are not limited to, looking aesthetically pleasing, environmentally sustainable, energy efficient, fire resistant, and outlasts severe weather conditions. Furthermore, metal roofs are long term investments that can last 50+ years with minimal maintenance. Ultimately, metal roofing is an ideal option for the customer that is seeking to extend the longevity of their roof for decades to come.

Built Up Roof Systems
Built Up Roof Systems (BUR) have been around for over 100 years. These roof systems are composed of multiple layers of ply sheets topped with flood coating. Flood coating used to be made of asphalt and granules, but technology has now made it possible for roof systems to use an adhesive solution. This type of roofing is known for being water resistant due to the use of multiple layers on the roof system. Finally, the roof is capped with either a mineral cap sheet or layer of asphalt and gravel. Final cap sheets are also made in white, which offers protection from the sun as it reflects the heat. Anyone looking to become a more energy efficient entity would be a good candidate for the reflective cap. All in all, the many layers of a BUR provide significant durability and water-tight protection.
